Wildflowers and BMX tracks

In a critical departure from stuff about guns and looking at a weeks worth of good weather, I present a wild downtown front-yard, and some enterprising kids who have been building a tactical jumpy wondergound for themselves and their pedal bikes. Also I'm testing out a new camera, the Pentax Option W60...

Man, oh man does that bring back some memories! I never raced, but I was heavily into off road cycling and outlaw bike racing back in my youth. Those were heady days. There's a lot to be said for having been there when both BMX and skating were invented. :)

Dc...whats with the weather...I'm back off home to fight the good fight and it gets sunny now!

Haji - We used to ride through acres of apricot orchards stuffing our bellies on fat tire bikes before there was BMX. No more. IMO it's cool to see the kids doing stuff like this, they've expanded it from last year and extended the trail along the bluff over the creek.
Thud - come back and it will rain again. The greenery only stays around for just a few weeks without rain...

Beautiful Dirtcrashr. I like the clarity it gives.. I have dropped mine a few times since we bought it. Yikes huh???

Nice and sharp! It supposed to be droppable, even into water.

If it's anywhere close to the older Optio W10 that I have, it is.

As in snorkling in Hawaii (the pictures turned out quite well), and later kayaking at various spots in our more local area.

Nice little pocketable doodad.

Thanks SteveH, snorkling in Hawaii - that's the ticket!
