A giant-gun sized hole...

...shaped like a water heater. Yeh that was fun, but hot water is funner.

In other news, for Christmas as my sole gunny-gift, from a friend I received the Ultra-Über-Dúber Tactiçal... The Tick (AKA the EZ Add-On Rail).

It's pretty cool, just replace the takedown lever with the supplied one that has a pin extension...super easy to do and it's rock solid.

Patent # 7,117,627 B2

THERE ARE NO TOOLS REQUIRED...PERIOD!
*------ slips on and off of your weapon.
*------ accepts most Tactical Lights and Lasers
*------ will stay solidly attached to your weapon
*------ won’t scratch your weapon
*------ maintains bore-sight

TRGear is proud of the short but successful history with the EZ Rail. SOCOM liked it so much, they requested a design for the M6 Sig 226 for the US Navy SEALS.

The EZ Rail has seen action all over the world; from Iraq to Afghanistan, to the Pacific Rim. It has been tested and approved by: Colt, m1911.org, Navy Seals, US Special Forces, and Military Police.

So NOW I'm all TACTICAL and shit - I just need a light for this damn thing, and another for the other one that already has a built-in rail.
What light for TICK!?

Might check on Calguns.com, they have a For Sale listing. I've seen lots of lights listed there. I've seen slightly dated NIB light assemblies for decent prices. Worth doing a search.

Will - GOOD IDEA! Never bought anything from anyone over there but there's always a first time...

Dunno.

I'm both extremely broke and very old-school and therefore take my out-dated or outright obsolete Surefire G2 in the weak hand and just kinda point it where I'm thinking I might be aiming the sights.

It doesn't work so well, but at least I need to practice it bunches.

I'm just now considering that I really need to rethink the battery that I might need to grab at Oh-my-gawd-it's-early for ventilating an interloper.

Keep us posted.
